Q ) What are the courses offered by Narayana Medical Institutions?

A ) Narayana Institutions are offering undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Medicine, Dentistry, Nursing, and Allied Health Sciences.


Q ) Are the courses offered by the Narayana Medical Institutions Recognized?

A ) All courses undergraduate courses offered by are recognized by respective councils like MCI, DCI, INC, PCI etc. and the Postgraduate courses are approved by the respective councils and Govt. of India from the year 2006 - 07, 2007 - 08 and are due for recognition by the years 2009 - 10.


Q )What are the criteria for admissions in different courses in Narayana Medical institutions?

A ) Admission criteria for different UG and PG courses vary based on the respective council and University regulations. You can contact the In-charge for admissions of the respective Institutions.


Q ) When is the last date for submitting the application forms to Narayana Medical Institutions?

A ) Last date is different for different courses according to the Guidelines of the respective councils and Dr NTR University of Health sciences AP.


Q ) What is the total approximate expenditure for a selected course?

A )This can be obtained from the respective college on seeking admission. Contact In-charge of Admissions for the same.


Q ) Can I get admission based on entrance test alone?

A ) Depending on the admission criteria, the admissions will be based on merit in the entrance test or marks in the qualifying examination. However, all candidates must fulfill the minimum eligibility requirements.


Q ) Can I apply after the last date for submitting the application?

A ) No application will be entertained after the last date for submission.


Q ) Where can I get the prospectus and application forms?

A ) The application material and admission details can be obtained from Officer - in -Charge of Admissions in the respective colleges of Narayana Medical institutions.


Q ) How I can reach Nellore?

A ) Nellore is south east coastal city of South Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. It is situated about 170 km north of Chennai City and 35km north of Gudur Railway Junction on NH 5, about 120km east of Tirupathi, about 360km to the east of Bangalore City. It is situated about 260km south of Vijayawada City on NH5. Nellore City is well connected by Buses from Karnataka and Tamilnadu, by Trains from places all over India like New Delhi, Jammu, Jaipur, Ajmer, Ahmedabad, Nagpur, Bhopal, Indore, Guwahati, Dibrugarh, Patna, Bhilaspur, Tata Nagar, Kolkata (Howrah), Bhubaneswar, Bangalore (Yaswanthpur), Chennai, Trichy, Kanyakumari, Madurai, Salem, Coimbatore, Kochi, Trivandrum to name some. Nearest domestic airport is at Tirupathi and International airport is at Chennai.


Q ) Will I get hostel accommodation?

A ) Candidates admitted are accommodated in Hostels. You can contact the Hostel Wardens after filling in applications obtained from the office for the same.


Q ) Should I need to pay the admission / tuition fee at the time of counselling / admission?

A ) Yes, the fee is to be paid on the day of counseling/admission.


Q ) Is there any facility for payment of fees in installments?

A ) No, the entire first year fees is to be paid on the day of counseling/admission and subsequent fees on the dates to be notified.


Q ) Is there any agent who can help me in getting admission to Narayana Medical Institutions?

A ) We advise the Parents and Candidates to approach on their own to the admission section of the respective institutions.


Q ) Is there any management quota?

A )Yes, 30% of the seats are given for management quota. You can contact the Officer in - Charge of the admissions for the details.


Q ) Is there any good hostel facility with attached dinning?

A )Yes, all hostels have mess facility.


Q ) Will I get hostel allotment at the time of admission?

A ) Yes, all admitted candidates who seek hostel seat will be accommodated in the hostels. Admission in hostels is given on first come first serve basis.


Q ) Is there any extra curricular activities promoted / facility available at Narayan Medical institutions where I can improve upon my skills?

A )There are plenty of facilities and promoted avenues for the overall personality development.


Q )Will I get total refund, if I withdraw my admission?

A )Refund is done as per the refund rules.


Q ) What are the documents required while attending the counselling?

A ) During counseling all the candidates are required to produce the original and two sets of photocopies of the all the documents and the photographs required.


Q ) Can I take back the original documents?

A ) Request for the withdrawals of the original documents submitted can be made only for genuine reasons by executing a Bank Guarantee in the format prescribed by the Admission office or after completion of the course only.


Q ) Who can apply under management quota?

A ) Foreign nationals or Non Resident Indians or Indian nationals who can not get through the respective state entrance tests can apply. They have to fulfill the required criteria set by the State Government, University and Councils respectively.
